The ODEBRECHT COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF COFFEE was founded in 1956 by the pioneer Edmund Odebrecht (1909-1978) in Warta, Londrina - PR. The company was one of the first manufacturers of coffee in the northern region of Parana, where he owned the worlds largest coffee plantation at the time.
During its long history, this enterprise has achieved the trust and respect of customers, thanks to a path guided by integrity and concern for the quality of the product offered.
For over half a century after the founding, Odebrecht is a solid company, currently taking place among the 10 largest companies of roast and ground coffee in Brazil and first in the southern region, exporting products to over 20 countries worldwide.
Nowadays, ODEBRECHT has three roasted coffee industries, three units for standardization of green coffee, three laboratories in their units for measurement and control of products and a unit of chocolate and other products production, both strategically located in major producing regions of the country supplying domestic and international markets.
Our purpose is to serve customers exceeding expectations, looking for the total satisfaction of the business conducted. Furthermore, the pursuit of self-sufficiency in thermal energy is a goal to be accomplished. Currently, we designed to remove 2-4 times the amount of plastic that our products place in the environment.
In our areas of agricultural production, we have a special concern for environmental preservation areas, as well as legal reserves predefined by law. Our roasted and ground coffee unit of production is located in a privileged area defined by law as the Londrinas Gastronomic and Cultural Zone.
In regard to corporate social responsibility, we have been granted with a Social Responsibility seal by Cancer Hospital of Londrina, a recognition of accomplished efforts for the community.
Therefore, we intend to prosper further above the nearly 60 years of ODEBRECHT history, leaving an example of a socially just, environmentally correct company for future generations and that has its procedures further above of what is currently accepted. This is our mission.
